I've brought up some very similar points on my <a href="http://www.agile-lab.co.uk/2008/12/because-i-cant-afford-sky-writing.html" rel="nofollow">Agile Lab blog</a>. One of the comments that I got on my blog regarding the "Difficult Conversations" book is that I should also read "Beyond Reason" by Roger Fisher (another one of the Getting to Yes people) and Daniel Shapiro. I think that's also a good book - with much better pointers to other reading in the field. I think this is a very interesting topic with relation to project management.
